Underground Utility/Sitework Foreman Fenson Contracting is seeking a project foreman to lead a 4-6 man crew on projects in Northwest/West Central Ohio Position Summary: • Ensuring a safe work environment • Ensure the work is completed according to the construction specs and drawings • Manage and achieve production goals • Plan, coordinate, and manage all project aspects including employees, subcontractors, equipment, and materials • Responsible for direct communication with inspector or owner and ability to resolve project issues • Tracking project quantities and time data daily • Maintaining as-built drawings Experience Required: • Effectively completing projects safely • Minimum 3 years leading similar crew, projects, and work types • Deeper excavations utilizing trench boxes & shoring • Waterlines • Storm & sanitary sewers • Street and roadway reconstructions • Earthwork & sitework • Demolition Skills & Requirements: • Strong safety record and background • Work longer hours – 50-60 hours per week • Travel up to 1.5 hours each way daily as needed • Work in all types of weather • Successfully complete projects from start to finish on-time and within budget • Communication, organization, and planning • Patience, teamwork, and leadership • Adapt to site conditions • Anticipate and resolve project issues Experience with concrete work, box culverts, small bridges, ODOT work, and asphalt paving is a major plus, but not required.
