This event is to celebrate Juneteenth and highlight the release of Donna Brumfield's newest book. ***If you would like to pre-order the book ONLY, you may do so in the ticket link.*** We've done book signings... we've done author events... but for the first time ever Smith Brumfield Communications hosts a safe, socially distant in-person book launch, signing, and lunch featuring the one and only Donna Smith-Brumfield. Rest assured, we'll follow all CDC guidelines and masks will be required. You'll get a chance to meet Donna, have an opportunity to take a quick photo together, and she'll sign your book while you enjoy an afternoon of music, drinks and food to celebrate our day of freedom! Each 'Launch & Lunch' ticket includes one signed book and one Juneteenth Snack Pack to enjoy while waiting for your opportunity to take a photo together. Photos will be sent directly to you. If you would like to purchase multiple books or snack packs in advance, please check the ticket link. The amazing Chef Darwin and baker extraordinaire Tracy Williams will provide food for the snack packs. Parking: There is plenty of free parking in front and around the Irwin Center and the adjacent park features a gazebo, water fountain and children’s playground.
