Learn how to work with various sized palette knives to mix oil paint and to create images on canvas. March Mattingly, a Central Texas artist is the instructor for this creative painting class as participants learn and explore different palette knife techniques using water soluble oil paints. This oil painting workshop includes demonstrations with different shapes and sizes of palette knives on canvas using a variety of painting techniques, learning how to transfer a painting concept to canvas, blending colors, choosing Students may bring their own palette knives to class. This is going to be a Zoom class and registration is required! Class size limit is 10. Supply kits are included and free! Recommended for the local community in Wimberley, Texas. Supply Kits may be picked up between 12 - 6 PM on Monday and 10 – 6 PM on Tuesday & Wednesday the week of class. If your plans change contact Adult Craft LAB at [email protected] so that we can give your class SPOT and supply KIT to someone on the waitlist! This is a LIVE Zoom class and we will no longer offer class recordings for later viewing. To keep registration simple we will no longer offer the option to audit a class. On the Monday before class, registrants will receive an email containing information about picking up their supply kit and a link to join the zoom class.
