Immediate Hire Performing routine maintenance and trouble shooting repairs on semi trucks and trailers. Tire repair and replacement. Those with general mechanical abilities (and above) are encouraged to apply. Duties and Responsibilities: • Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues • Liaise with drivers to determine their vehicle requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems • Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform supervisor of any issues • Prepare work estimates as requested • Keep an accurate log of all work performed • Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times • Adhere to company work safety policies Skills and Qualifications: • Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance • Demonstrated experience inspecting vehicles for faults and repairs • Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment • Excellent relationship skills • Sound problem-solving skills • Completion of an apprenticeship is advantageous Compensation: • DOE • GREAT Benefits - Health, Dental, Vision • Paid Vacation • Paid Holidays • IRA w Company Matching Contact Ray Lohner at Behnke, Inc. 269-441-7527 (Direct) 269-779-0052 (cell or text) [email protected]
