Description

We have two sets of ferrets looking for new homes. 2 are rescue ferrets we took in from a neglected situation. The original owners were drug users who never handled or fed them and only ever had them in the cage. They didn’t even know how to be handled. They are 4ish years old and are both dark brown hooded ferrets. Peanut and Nips. Still learning to be affectionate. They love tunnels, and their hammocks. They eat raw eggs, and are in instinct high protein diet. The second pair are females also. One white/grey, one light brown hooded. They are about 3-4 years old also. We’ve they were given to us over a year and a half ago from a cage only family also. But have been handed regualarly since we’ve had them. Also on raw eggs and instant high protein food. Neither pair comes with anything. But I require you to have a ferret nation cage. Or similar cage and set up ready before you get them with set up. I require proof as well. They don’t deserve a small cage especially for two ferrets. Both pairs are used to a big cage to play in. They for the most part use the litter box. We use pine pellets. Ferrets should be out of cage 4-6 hours a day. We walk our ferrets on leashes outside so they get to enjoy the outside. Figure 8 harnesses are the best(especially for peanut she’s a petite very small ferret) ferrets nails require frequent trimming even though they don’t like it as they grow very quickly. They are like toddlers and not not the easiest pets to have. They require time and affection don’t just get them because they are cute.. their food is pretty expensive as it’s one of the best they can be on. Rehoming fee applies to both pairs.
