I know exactly how you feel! For instance, today I was at 900 Grayson having lunch with my friends and a woman sat across from us on the patio, the one closer to the restaurant -not in the driveway- she had a beanie, round sunglasses, brown pants with a tear (purposeful?) in the left knee, no or low socks and a pair of white and earth tone Nikes on. Now, ordinarily I would tell you she had the soup before her entree but I don’t want to creep her out with my unusually keen sense of observation, so I’ll refrain. So many people do tend to cross a line or two when posting on here... I made a bunch of jokes, the kind I would make with my friends (we have steak frites there frequently, less so this past year, but wow it sure does feel great to be getting back to normal, I however, remain cautiously optimistic) with my friends but a little louder so she could hear them. I can’t be sure but I think she laughed at a few. Her friend showed up at the end, he too had a dog who she knew by name. We paid the bill, well my friends did, they bought me lunch, sure do like those guys. Anyhow, I was dressed like a lumberjack that works at a filing station in one of Stephen Kings books and I wonder if she noticed me beyond my joke with the owner of the place about charging his attorney his own fees for his lunch? Her dog, an Irish setter, looked to be physically fit, for a dog, I mean who body shames dogs? (I really hope I punctuated everything correctly, you know what they say; you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Or is it; once on the lips forever on the hips?
