Description
Join us as we brainstorm ways we can create change in our community while we discuss the Walter Dean Myers biography: "Malcolm X: By Any Means Necessary." This discussion will take place outdoors at Crystal Lake in McCutcheon Park, so we encourage you to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Date: Wednesday, May 26, 2021 Time:5:30pm - 6:30pm This program is designed for young people ages 10 and up. Registration is required and will close one day before the event begins (on 5/25/21). We have a limited number of free books (to keep!) which will need to be picked up at the Russell Library prior to the online event. If you sign up for a free book, after you register a librarian will email you to confirm it is ready for you to pick up! After you hear from us you can: Pick your book up during library operating hours (Monday-Saturday: 9-5pm) or Call us at 860-347-2528 and set up a curbside appointment!
