Available Shifts: Sun-Wed 6am-4:30pm Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities: -Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of outgoing shipment. -Prepare documents, such as shipping orders to route materials. -Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes. -Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. -Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping using postage meter. -Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as nonconformance to specifications. Physical Demands: While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the employee is occasionally required to sit and use hands. H/she will frequently stand, walk, handle or touch and move from place to place. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
