Press release from the Jefferson Parish Government: May 13, 2021 JEFFERSON, LA - Starting Friday, May 14, 2021, at 7:00 a.m., the U-Turn lane to the southside of 1014 Veterans Memorial Blvd., between W. William David Pkwy. and Oaklawn Dr., will be closed on a continuous basis. Motorists will use the next available U-Turn lane for travel. The closure is necessary for drain line repairs at a cost of $317,061.66. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, May 21, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
