Summer Vegetables for Central Florida Wednesday, May 19, 2021 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Instructor: Robert Bowden In a class led by Leu Gardens’ Director, Robert Bowden, discover a surprisingly wide variety of vegetables that perform their best in our region’s intense summer heat and humidity. The class will tour the vegetable garden and then scurry back to the cool classroom in the Cottage to learn more about how and what to grow in Central Florida. Robert Bowden is the Director of Leu Gardens and author of Florida Top Ten Garden Guide by Sunset Books and Florida Fruit and Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Harvest the Best Edibles by Cool Springs Press. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
