ARVADA, CO — A new initiative will feature front-line employees in Arvada who make the city a brighter place. The Arvada Visitors Center has launched Hospitality Heroes of Arvada, and the first featured employee has already been announced — Ashley Marks, a server who has been working at Smokin' Fins in Olde Town since 2017. In an interview with the center, Marks said she believes that great service "is providing a wonderful experience" for guests. "Serving is much like parenting as we have to anticipate what the guests will need before they have to ask for it," Marks said. Her favorite part about working in Arvada? The "awesome people," she said. "Everyone is so down to earth and fun. I have met some really amazing people here."
