Job Description The position of full-time Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general handyman repairs and maintenance of buildings and doing preventative maintenance. Position requires travel through King and Snohomish counties. Occasionally Pierce county. The position will include work in the building trades (carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical). Must be willing to be available on nights and weekends for occasional emergency call. Responsibilities and Duties Essential Function: -Regular, reliable and punctual attendance. -Perform general repair and maintenance to building systems at public and private customers -Light construction work, interior and exterior painting, wallboard repair, ceiling tile installation and similar duties. -Light electrical work, changing light bulbs and ballasts -Light plumbing work, including installing/replacing sink, faucet and toilet components, unclogging drains and pipes, and similar duties -Light HVAC work primarily changing filters if needed -Respond to and solve building maintenance related problems identified by tenants or owners. -Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the building maintenance and mechanical rooms -Maintain records and documentation -Dress appropriately: proper footwear and clothing Job Specifications: -Must be able to pass a Washington State Patrol and other background checks -Customer service experience preferred -Current Washington State Driver's License required Qualifications and Skills -Computer skills: Company to provide a mobile device with Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and Excel. -Must have knowledge of and experience using a variety of power and hand tools. -Must have basic understanding of carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical. -Must have own vehicle (pick-up preferred) for transportation to and from work and job sites. -Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. -Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
