Pit Mix Need to Find Rescue

I am posting this on my mom’s behalf. She has a pit bull mix who was a stray a few years ago that approached my dad outside their home. After trying to find its owner with no lick they adopted him. He is a sweet dog but clearly was in a bad situation before they took him in. He has some behavior issues and is a big strong dog. Late last year my father passed away and now this pup is just too much for my mom to handle. We are looking to find a rescue that specializes in behaviorally challenged dogs that works to rehabilitate them and rehome them. He is a very sweet and loving dog and deaerves the opportunity to be rehabilitated and find a great forever home. it is important that this happens ASAP, because its already hard for my mom to rehome him, but its also like losing another prt of my father because he loved this pup so much.
