Position Purpose
The QC technician will assist on the implementation, monitoring and documentation of food safety and quality programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement and maintain HACCP and prerequisite programs
• Provide necessary support to QC and operations department to enforce Quality procedures.
• Conduct daily QC checks to ensure process complies with Quality policies and standards.
• Address process and policy deviations in a timely and effective manner
• Provide food safety and quality support to various departments of the organization
• Ensure company is in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
• Assist in providing necessary quality and food safety training for plant personnel
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATION
• Experience in Quality Assurance.
• HACCP certified and experience with food safety programs a plus
• Strong computer and clerical experience (Microsoft applications and integrated computer systems )
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow and comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug test

• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is required
• Ability to work with groups-team oriented personality
• Organizational skills
