PLEASANTON, CA — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted. Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year's grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one. Amador Valley High student Maya Morgenstern will graduate this year. Plans after graduation: Attending Santa Barbara City College with plans to study abroad and transfer after 2 years to a university. Accomplishments: 4 years of Leadership ending up on ASB council, 6 years of NCL, 2 years of Amador Swim, 13 years as a PVC rec swim team Dolphin. Special message: Maya, we are so proud of all of your accomplishments and can't wait to see what the future brings. We love you so much!
