Londonderry Man Pleads Guilty To Voter Fraud

CONCORD, NH — A Londonderry man, who voted in two states during the 2016 general election, has pleaded guilty to a felony vote fraud charge on May 13. Laurence Kahn, 58, of Buckingham Drive in Londonderry, who is registered as an undeclared voter, pleaded guilty to a single count of voting in more than one state, prohibited, a felony, in Rockingham County Superior Court on Thursday. "Mr. Kahn knowingly checked in at the checklist in Londonderry and cast a New Hampshire ballot, after having already cast a ballot in the same election year in Michigan during the 2016 General Election," Kate Giaquinto, the director of communications for the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, said. "Mr. Kahn was sentenced to 90 days at the House of Corrections, all suspended for one year on the condition of his good behavior." In the sentence, Kahn was also ordered to pay a $4,000 fine with a penalty assessment of $960. Kahn has also been barred from voting in New Hampshire. Got a news tip? Send it to [email protected].
