He is sweet young man who likes to be out and about. He is interested in participating in safe, social activities in the community. This young man He needs direct care services for all his needs in both his home, and in the community. He needs does full support with personal care. This job is a 2:1 staffing position. This young man loves being busy and being out and about. He loves going to the movies, and parks. He loves playing video games and watching old movies and cartoons. We will provide training and support. You MUST… · Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field: Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work or Gerontology or have a CNA, LPN, RBT, or a current NADD Competency-Based IDD/MI Dual Diagnosis Direct Support Professional Certification · Have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. · Be willing and able to provide full care, toileting, showering, feeding Be able to pass standard background checks. Our Idea Candidate… · Has both medical and behavioral experience. · Has experience as a TSS or PCA · Has experience with various video game consoles. · Has a great sense of humor and a calm demeanor. · Enjoys playing board games, going to the movies and having books read to him. · Enjoys adventures and physical exercise. · Is kind and fun. · Enjoys problem-solving everyday issues. · Enjoys learning new skills. · Enjoys swimming.
