Summary: As a machine operator, you will be responsible for performing the daily functions of the department including: running equipment, setting up jobs correctly, performing quality checks, sorting materials, routing completed jobs and assisting other departments when necessary. Key responsibilities: • Operate different mailing/finishing machinary • Produce jobs based on specified timelines/deadlines • Perform quality checks on jobs throughout the job process • Notify management when machine service is needed • Assist in maintaining service call logs and interacting with service personnel • Work with staff to ensure that the correct stock is on-hand for each job • Perform inventories on departmental production supplies • Assist in other departments when needed Required: * Ability to read and understand the English language * Attention to detail * Ability to follow direction and to work independently * Ability to lift 50 pound boxes Desired: * Experience with running mailing/finishing equipment * Organizational and interpersonal skills * Experience with quality control methods Education: Relevant education, skills and/or experience Additional qualifications: Must be a US citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the US on an unrestricted basis. Must pass a background check.
