Position available for Grounds Maintenance Crew, assisting in maintaining a 74-acre condominium association in a park-like setting. Applicant should be able to take instruction and direction from Supervisor each day. Previous experience working on expansive grounds along with knowledge of health and safety requirements preferred. Ability to work in various weather conditions is expected. Duties include, but are not limited to raking, leaf blowing, leaf and debris removal, mowing, weed eating, plant bed edging, fertilizing, and weeding/watering of plants and trees throughout the grounds. Other duties include mulching, planting, trimming, and pruning of plant beds. Other tasks as assigned may include painting, pressure washing, moving of heavy objects (50+ lbs.) snow removal, both shoveling, snow blowing and operating snow plow. Assist crew with weekly trash removal and recycling. Applicants must be able to interact professionally with residents and co-workers, have a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and a great work ethic. May be asked to work independently as needed. Candidate should be comfortable on their feet most of the day, walking large distances, use of ladders with no height issues, power tools and gardening equipment. Wage based on experience with possibility of increase after 90-day introductory period. Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, a valid driver's license, and pass back ground check and drug testing. Normal hours are 7:30 - 4:00 pm M-F, with occasional fluctuation due to weather conditions. Please submit resume with work experience.
