Press release from Kent Intermediate School District: May 14, 2021 Today Governor Whitmer announced Michigan will be following the CDC recommendations no longer requiring individuals to be masked outdoors and fully vaccinated people no longer need masks indoors. This new order will be effective tomorrow, May 15th. Because we do not know who has been vaccinated and who has not been vaccinated, we will continue our policy of requiring masks for all students, staff and visitors in all indoor spaces in Kent ISD.  We will continue to work through this and will have further communication in the near future.
