DAVIDSON, NC — Free outdoor concerts are coming back to Davidson this summer. The town's annual "Concerts on the Green" concert series is set to resume July 4 on the Davidson Village Green. Two new concert series — Concerts @ The Circles and Second Saturdays @ the Square — will also kick off in early June. Concerts on the Green performances are held on the village green in downtown Davidson on select Sunday evenings. Here is the 2021 "Concerts on the Green" schedule: Sunday, July 4 — Thurston Howell, Yacht Rock Spectacular Sunday, July 18 — The Legacy Motown Revue, Motown Sunday, Aug. 1 — Smitty & The Jumpstarters, Swinging blues Sunday, Aug. 15 — Band of Oz, Beach/variety Sunday, Sept. 5 — Gospelfest, gospel Sunday, Sept. 19 — The Davidson College Symphony & Jazz Ensemble, Classical/jazz Sunday, Oct. 3 — Dave Matthews Tribute Band Sunday, Oct. 17 — Kids in America, 80s tribute Concerts @ the Circles performances are held on Jetton street by Clean Juice.
