We are looking for a top notch Executive Housekeeper to lead a team of housekeepers for a Private Estate. Hours: Flexible schedule (including working on weekends and holidays) Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Reports To: Household Manager Job Summary/Objective: The Executive Housekeeper will attend to the personal needs of all guests and carry out numerous hands-on tasks as directed by the Household Manager. Supervises all housekeeping employees. Perform regular quality checks and take disciplinary action when policies are not followed. Assigns regular and special tasks to housekeeping staff. Weekly scheduling and timecard approvals. Provide training to new employees. Duties/Responsibilities: · Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of all buildings. · Ensure that rooms are made to standard. · Inventory management of household supplies, linens and staff uniform. · Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures · Assist Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to housekeeping. · Attending to and resolving guest complaints. Other duties: · Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property. · Remove linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets. · Neatly make beds and/or changes bed linens according to policies. · Stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms. · Pick up and empty trash containers. · Clean and disinfect bathrooms. · Clean and disinfect kitchen and dining areas. · Pack/unpack dishwashers. · Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans. · Wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors. · Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. · Load washers and dryers and folds sheets and towels in laundry room as needed. · Notify maintenance if something is not working properly. · Report any suspicious activity to manager. · Perform other related duties as assigned. · Check inventory and replenish cleaning cart supplies. · Open packages/deliveries for guests. Required Skills/Abilities: · Ability to meet guest needs and provide necessary assistance. · Detail-oriented and thorough. · Ability to remain discrete and respect the privacy of guests. · Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously. · Ability to work with animals and to remain calm in strenuous circumstances. · Ability to follow instructions. · Email/text knowledgeable. · Flexible working schedule. · Clean driving license. Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending · Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds at times
