Great opportunity to join a wonderful company! The Catholic Cemetery Association has an immediate opening for a Lead Grounds/Maintenance person. Must have backhoe experience and experience working well with all landscaping, grounds tools. Supervisor experience, leading a work crew/landscaping team, is required. Irrigation experience is a plus. Must be able to drive a stick-shift. High school graduate with working knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and processes - 3 years’ experience in grounds maintenance and/or burial preparation preferred - Ability to project a professional, sincere and friendly manner at all times - Ability to work well with staff and supervisors - Demonstrated sensitivity to a multicultural church - Operation of all light and heavy equipment Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment. Assign tasks to crew members. Completes assignments and duties within the procedures established for that job. Serves as role model for other grounds staff.
