Keyboardist & Lead Guitarist seeks other musicians to start a band

Hello musicians! I play piano/keyboards and do lead vocals. My friend Peter is a lead guitarist and he's awesome. He also owns his own professional recording studio in NE Atlanta. We both play in every key and have good knowledge as to knowing what we are doing. We are looking for others who are honestly serious about forming a band. Written material and covers. We need a bassist, drummer and a second keyboardist/organist. The keyboard player needs to be comfortable playing without me on keys and also versatile on keys AND Hammond Organ. I will look for some brass/woodwind players once we get the core started. The genres are listed above, and can be inclusive of other genres. So far, we've gotten a bunch of responses and positive and kind compliments/feedback on our approach as musicians. But when it comes time to meet and even just to do an initial rehearsal, something always seem to come up with the others. So at this point, we are only looking for some solid musicians who are steadfastly serious about this. If you're not really ready, or if you just want to play in your basement for fun, then this may not be for you. Also, this wont be for you if you are a beginner musician, for instance, if you just learned how to play this yr. Yes, its going to take a lot of time, hard work, loyalty, dedication and investment. I remember talking to The Decemberists back in 2007. They told me of some of their challenges and difficulties that they had when they first formed many yrs ago. Now, they are one of Capitol Records' biggest acts on Capitol's artist roster. That's what I mean. I want to start from somewhere. Music is my life. And having a professional/performing band is my dream; and before I die, that dream will become a reality. So....me and Peter will keep the ad up, and we'll keep trying until we put it together. Let's get to the music!!!
