progressive church looking for musicians

Hello, I am a music director for an inclusive, progressive church in the Grant Park neighborhood. Right now the music is just me on the piano, but I would love to incorporate more musicians. The church is a wonderful, lgbtq+ inclusive community, particularly towards those who have experienced trauma from other church communities. I myself am queer, and working on a spiritual/queer music project. The music we do is very folk hymn oriented, and I'd like to go more in that direction verses the "contemporary christian" music, so percussion instruments (sorry, we're not quite ready for a drum kit yet), guitar, string instruments, ukulele, other singers, etc... A multi-instrumentalist and singer would work well for our group. It would also be great to meet and do music outside of Sunday mornings. We have access to the church for rehearsal space for song-writing, and other rehearsal space needs. Right now we're taking COVID precautions, if you have specific questions about that please ask.
