Looking for Electronic Music Collaborators

Description

I'm a female multi-instrumentalist/producer. Guitar is my main instrument but I play a few others. Ableton is my DAW of choice. I have a wide range of musical interests that I draw inspiration from (e.g., ambient techno to middle eastern classical music). A few artists I've been listening to: nicolas jaar, chromatics, the acid, HVOB, and earthen sea. I'm also really interested in and influenced by film, philosophy, art and critical theory. If a song sounds like the night, uses delay and has a bpm of less than 111, I'll probably like it. I moved here from Chicago for a job. I've written and released three albums (ambient, downtempo electronic music). I've played shows, not a ton but some. Although I recorded as a solo artist, I performed my songs with other musicians- I remixed my songs live and improvised alongside other musicians. It was a fun way to work and play. I'm open to working in that way or starting a new project. Here's what I'm looking for: - someone smart and thoughtful because it would be great if we could be friends beyond just people who jam. - 30+ or older but not a deal breaker. - someone who's open to exploring musical ideas over time - Multi-instrumentalists are welcome, esp other producer/instrumentalists (keys, drums, etc) - people who like books - people who like bourbon What I don't want: I'm not looking to be someone's "producer." Unless your band is doing something I dig, I'll probably pass on any offers to be your band's keys player or producer. Send over a link if you're intrigued after all of this. I'll share work as well. If I don't respond it probably means that I didn't get your email. I'll try to check my spam filters.
