Responsibilities: Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. Assist crews with various duties such as; cleaning up, shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrow, moving items as required Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite. Lifts, carries and holds material, tools and supplies. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements: Must be 18 years in age or older. Must pass pre-employment physical and 10- panel drug screen Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures. Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and paving. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hand and arms above their shoulders.
