Golden Retriever Mix/ Rehoming

Description

This is Rhett, and he is about 1 year old and believed to be a Golden Retriever mix. He is about 75lb and neutered. He is in great health and is up to date on all his vaccinations, as well as heartworm/flea and tick prevention. He adores people of all ages. He is loving and loyal and wants to be around you 24/7. He just can't get enough attention. For this reason though, he is not ideal for someone who works long hours or is not home frequently and also needs to be an indoor dog. He is somewhat afraid of other dogs so he needs to go to a home where he is the only one. I have not had him around cats much, but he seemed very interested in them and kinda wanted to chase after, so I would say a cat free home as well. He is overall very chill and the extent of his activity level involves a long walk in the evenings. He does enjoy playing frisbee. He is good in the car and likes to go places. He never barks, but he does whine when he gets excited or doesn't want you to leave.  He is a little bit of a chewer at times and can destroy toys if not watched, even ones that say they are big dog proof. He loves bones and will chew as many of those as you will give him. He is house broken and he walks well on a leash. He does get excited to see people, and has a tendency to pull on the leash or try to jump up to greet them. He is smart and eager to please so I believe he is easily trainable. He is not fully crate trained and needs alot of work in that area... I do crate him when I’m at work, but it is a struggle and he does not like it at all. I have left him out for short periods of time (no more than 3 hours) and he has done really well. He does shed so please keep that in mind. He needs to be brushed daily due to his fur coat, but if you keep up, it is definitely manageable. I am asking a rehoming fee to ensure that he finds a good home. I will include his toys, food/water bowls, some food, bed, treats, leash/collar, 6 months of flea/tick, and 6 months or Heartgaurd. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
