Compensation Rate: $17-19/HR DOE
JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE
• Demonstrates ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products.
• Assists others on maintenance classification in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoots programmable controllers and troubleshoots and repairs A/C AND D/C drives and their control systems uses.
• Identifies and orders machinery parts using OEM Drawings or internet information as required.
• Navigates all maintenance software programs.
• Assists with scheduled maintenance work according to their abilities and limitations.
• Follows up on all maintenance orders to ensure repairs and work are performed accordantly.
• Assists with assembles, fits and alignments using hand tools, power tools and fixtures.
• Monitors PLC’s for machine diagnosis and repairs as well as minor adjustments.
• Maximizes the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Assists Electro Mechanics with orders and maintenance repairs.
• Assists with preventative maintenance when scheduled.
• Ensures the compliance of safety guidelines.
• Wears the proper safety equipment for the environment including safety glasses and steel toe shoes.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
• High School diploma/GED required
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on industrial machinery if not then educational background in Industrial Electrical field
• Efficient use of computer
• Strong organizational & communication skills: Writing, Speaking
• Ability to recommend and implement customer solutions to drive top and bottom-line improvement.
• Ability to handle multiple projects within a fast pace work environment.
