The Courtyard/TownePlace Suites Hawthorne is looking for a maintenance technician to be a part of our brand new hotel. Experience in wallpaper install and repair preferred but not required Complete Suites care checklist on suites as scheduled. Report completed Suite care maintenance to chief engineer. Prioritize and complete work orders in a timely fashion. Participate in the keeping of maintenance work order log. Inform hotel guests, as needed, of the maintenance procedures completed on their suites. Check all stairways and landings as needed for safety hazards. Repair as needed. Check fences for upkeep requirements. Repair as needed. Check property signage and lighting for upkeep and requirements. Repair as needed. Repair and troubleshoot HVAC as needed. Clean HVAC coils semi-annually, or as needed. Repair appliances as needed. Responsible for pool and spa maintenance procedures to support Groundskeeper, as necessary. Responsible for knowing hotel emergency procedures. Monitor and replenish suite key inventory as needed. Change locks to insure security. Check smoke alarms in suites, Gatehouse, Meeting rooms and public areas on regular schedule. Assist Chief engineer in the identification of persistent, consistent or major maintenance problems. Communicate to the requesting party the completion of maintenance requests. Accommodate guest special requests courteously. Answer guest questions regarding Residence Inn and local area facilities and services.
