Job Title: Head Housekeeper (Bridgehampton, NY) Job Description A Private Family Residence in Bridgehampton, NY seeks an experienced live-out Head Housekeeper with great cooking skills to assist with the preparation of meals and oversee the care of their household. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Supporting the current head cook in preparing and serving healthy meals for the principals • Responding to any special meal requests • Responsible for all aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and household organization • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization at all times • Procuring supplies, including grocery shopping, personal gift shopping, etc • Laundry and ironing clothing and home linens • Closet organization and travel packing/unpacking • Museum-quality cleaning of fine furniture, art, and antiques • Assisting with other household errands • Running ad-hoc tasks and assisting with any related duties Schedule: This is a full-time, live-out position. The typical schedule is Tuesday – Saturday, during the summer, the schedule may vary with supporting principals during the weekends and holidays. In the off-season, there’s a lot more flexibility in the schedule. Compensation: Salary is generous but DOE. Benefits: 2 weeks paid-time-off, and health insurance package (after 3 months) Requirements • Excellent references required from current and previous employers • Minimum 5 years related work experience in a private home or estate • Very strong fluency in/command of the English language • Excellent cooking skills • Must be hands-on with a good attitude, high energy, and strong work ethic • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills • Comfortable working in a home with pets & children • Valid driver’s license • Valid United States work authorization
