Description
Responsibility: Assist field technician to assess various conditions of utility poles. You will have the hands-on opportunity to use the latest Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) technology and instruments to collect engineering data needed for further analysis. That includes using laser measurement equipment, ultrasonic measurement, plus cloud-based data collection/analysis. This is an OUTDOOR position and requires extensive walking and carrying of up to 20lbs of equipment, you must be physically fit and be able to work outdoors for extended periods. Do not apply if you cannot carry 20lbs of equipment or walk 5-6 miles per day.
Must be motivated, pay attention to details, hard-working and self-starter.
$20 per hour starting pay, opportunity for a safety and production bonus after training. Paid training, paid travel time, per diem for food.
This job involves both CO and out of state work, accommodation and per diem are paid for out of state work, ability to travel is REQUIRED for this position. At least 50% or more work will be performed out of state for 2-3 week periods at a time.
