GREAT OPPORTUNITY; We are looking for two owner operators to run United States Express Mail delivery routes from S. High School Road next to the airport and deliver to Martinsville and Terre Haute. The details for each are follows: The Martinsville Route: You pick up mail at the High School Road Annex at 7:50 AM and deliver to Martinsville then return to the Annex, finishing at 9:45 AM. This route runs Monday through Saturday. You do not run 10 Postal Holidays a year but are paid for them. The pay is $800 every other week plus 100 gallons of fuel per calendar month regardless of the cost of fuel. You will need at least a large SUV or minivan or large PU with a shell. Terre Haute: You pick up mail at the High School Road Annex at 7:50 AM and deliver to Terre Haute then return to the Annex finishing at 10:50 AM. This route runs every day of the year. The pay is $1700 every other week plus 310 gallons of fuel per calendar month regardless of the cost of fuel. You will need a full- size cargo van. You may have both routes or we will be able to split. You will be the boss. You may hire others to help you. You must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record which means within the past five years you have not had a DUI and no more than one speeding ticket. You cannot have a criminal record; you will be required to be fingerprinted. The vehicle liability insurance requirements are: $250,000 per person, $500,000 per accident and $100,000 personal property damage. This route begins Saturday, May 29.
