Job Summary: The Maintenance Make Ready will aid the Lead Maintenance of the apartment community in the make-ready process of empty units in order to prepare them for move-ins to ensure that the move-in process runs smoothly and effectively. Duties/Responsibilities: • Assist in making vacant apartment units ready for the move-in of new residents. • Maintain all community amenities and ensure they are free of trash and in working order for residents. • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the apartment community they are assigned. • Coordinate with vendors as needed. • Assist the Lead Maintenance and Assistant Maintenance as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Beginner level understanding of tool knowledge. • Beginner level understanding of appliance installs. • Beginner level painting skills. • Beginner level woodworking skills. • Beginner level understanding of minor drywall repairs. • Able to lift at least 50 pounds without help. • Ability to prioritize tasks. • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
