It's time to get things rolling. Glad to see more venues opening up for bands and I am ready to get back into doing what I love to do. Looking for a band that has their sound and group together and just needing that one more piece to make it happen. I am 60 yrs old and still enjoy the gigging and fun that comes with getting out and playing wherever music needs to happen. I am most interested in a band with a good singer, probably 4-5 piece, either a second guitarist or keyboard. I play blues, rock, love a good funk band, some new country, even some of the new pop stuff. Pretty versatile and willing to try anything. My preference overall would be to find a band that knows their stuff and not a start up. I have very good equipment, able to learn songs relatively quickly, very dependable and appreciate doing what makes the song and singer (s) shine. Don't need to be the star. I love good vocals (EVEN THOUGH I DON'T SING) and would prefer a group that appreciates the same. Time to get out there and make some music again. I do this for the love of playing, and not doing this for a living. Prefer to dedicate my time to one band rather than being a hired gun which seems to be the norm in Phoenix.
