We are a family run and owned dog daycare/ boarding facility. We love our dogs with a passion and show them the utmost care. We truly do everything we can to make sure our facility is where every dog wants to be. This entails making sure that all play areas are kept clean and disinfected throughout the day, all of our dogs are constantly supervised and that we are loving on them any chance we get. We also pride ourselves on our customer service, so you need to love all human guests too. We are looking for 2 part time employees and a front receptionist. We want to add an experienced, friendly, reliable, hardworking dog lover to ODH Ventura family. We would like you to have customer service experience (preferably restaurant experience). Our email is [email protected] Requirements: - Must be available to start ASAP. - Must have flexibility in your schedule. We have a different number of dogs daily and you may need to come early or stay longer for a shift. Must be available at least 4 days a week including at least one weekend day. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and know how to manage your time well. - Must be reliable and responsible. - Keen attention to detail, safety, and cleanliness (Dogs can be messy. Must be able to clean up any type of mess. We give medications. Must be able to be detail oriented, as all medication instructions are different) - Must be able to work WEEKENDS AND ALL HOLIDAYS (even major holidays). IT IS A REQUIREMENT! - Able to work together with your team to care for 40-60 dog's daily. - We want someone who WANTS to do an excellent job each day and go above and beyond for our pups. - Must be able to lift 50+lbs. We have many dogs that are 70lbs+ and they run into to us daily. You need to be able to handle that kind of weight running into you at full speed. - You must LOVE dogs. We are around all kinds of breeds and personalities. We love them very much and care for them as if they are our own pups. - Applicants must be 18 years or older. - Teamwork and a positive attitude are a must in our facility. - If hired, you must have reliable means of transportation.
