Job Summary: The primary function of this job will require worker to follow all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure all products are compliant with our exceptionally high manufacturing standards and product is available to ship as scheduled. Key Function/Job Responsibilities: 1. Ability to follow all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) as indicated below: a. Bottling/Packaging/Labeling b. Blending c. Milling d. Encapsulating e. Raw Materials Handling f. Bulk Packaging and Teas g. Bulk Capsules h. Finished Goods i. Extracts j. Quarantine 2. Ensure no cross contamination with products 3. Inspect all products during manufacture and packaging while maintaining high quality standards 4. Inform Production Supervisor or QC of any and all irregularities or concerns 5. Perform cleaning and sanitation duties according to SOP’s; as assigned by management team 6. Treats others with courtesy and respect; understands the value of cooperating with others and teamwork, as well as being able to work independently 7. Understands and follows OWH basic rules, policies and procedures (attendance, safety, business conduct, etc.) 8. Other duties as assigned by management team Qualifications/Skills: Education: High School Diploma or GED Certification: NCRC preferred (Production Associate Job Description, Rev. 01-18-2017) Page 2 of 2 Experience: 1 year of experience in a production or similar environment strongly preferred Skills: Must be dependable, accurate, and possess integrity and commitment to high quality standards Ability to perform basic math/algebra functions to complete Production paperwork Strong communication skills (oral and written) Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team Other Requirements: Able to manage stress appropriately Able to manage anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately and professionally Able to work alone/independently US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) required Physical Requirements: Able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation: Stand and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours/day) Perform repetitive tasks/motions Distinguish colors Hear alarms/telephone/tape recorder/normal speaking voice Have good manual dexterity Have good eye-hand-foot coordination Have clarity of vision: Near (<20”); Mid (>20”-<20’); Far (>20’) Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or climb Ability to reach above head and shoulders frequently Ability to twist at waist frequently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently Ability to lift from floor level up, from waist level up, or above shoulders/head occasionally Ability to handle up 100 lbs occasionally, with or without lifting aides Ability to move product using hand truck (up to 100 lbs) Ability to push/pull pallet jacks containing product of substantial weight occasionally Ability to work in warehouse climate conditions Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation Working Conditions: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided as appropriate.
