Crist Bros. Orchards (CBO) is a family owned and operated modern apple farm looking for a self-driven, detail oriented Packing and Maintenance Management Associate. This is a hands-on management position that requires a team player who thrives in a small business environment. This job includes packing line operation and management as well as maintenance, adaptation and fabrication of both packing and orchard equipment. We are looking for a long term employee with the desire to develop a career within our organization. CBO is vertically integrated with state of the art storage and packing facilities to facilitate the sale of 17+ varieties from approximately 700 acres grown on 9 sites. The company is an innovative regional leader in apple production. This is an excellent position for a hard working candidate enthused about a production/manufacturing environment and equipment that ranges from the simple and mechanical to robotic and cutting edge. A keen attention to food safety will be imperative. POSITION OVERVIEW Initially the majority of employee's time will be spent learning to pack apples and operate, repair and service equipment. A full knowledge of the apple varieties and their attributes as well as customer requirements and packaging will be necessary for long term success. Learn our current food safety program. Packing and Maintenance Management Associate will be a key part of the management team, assisting with many facets of the operation.
