SoCal Bottling Position: Bottling line Operator Our daily routine includes receiving shipments and adequately organizing the freight in the warehouses. The job will consist of unpacking shipments and deploying the products to the proper departments, setting up and staging raw materials to be filled on our semi-automated fill machine. Once the filling machine is operating, the operator watches the machine to make sure operations complete correctly. After the filling machine is complete, a 40 to 50-pound tray must be pulled off the filling machine and carried to the capping station ( 3 feet ). Once the caps are on the bottles, they will be hand placed into an induction lining machine that will seal a metal liner in the bottle's lid. The bottles will then drop into a bin to be collected and fed one by one through a labeling machine. Once labeled, the operator will thoroughly check them for damages or defects. If approved, the bottle will get packed into a box for storage or shipping. Most orders will get palletized. At the end of the shift, the operator would then need to clean up. Throwing away any trash, wipe down the surfaces, mop the floors, and organizing any tools used throughout the day at that time. Certification/ licence requirements: Users will operate equipment that requires certification after 90 days company will provide training and certification through a third party. *A forklift license is a plus. Knowledge requirements: The operator would need to have a basic understanding of computers / machinery and be able to troubleshoot basic program errors. The company will provide training on all the error codes and how to troubleshoot our equipment. If you can run a 3-d printer, you can run our machines. Physical requirements: The operator would need to lift more than 50 pounds often as sometimes our boxes go up to 75 up to 100 pounds. Some of our heavier items go up to 1700 pounds, we have the equipment to handle the heavy lifting, but sometimes we must push these items on dollies.
