Job Title: Production Line Lead City: Fullerton, CA Salary range: Line Lead I - $18.25 - $19.00 Line Lead II - $17.25 - $18.00 Line Lead III - $15.00 -$ 16.25 The Line Lead is responsible for coordinating employee activities and product handling of an assigned production line in a safe and effective manner through the application of safe working practices, SOPs, GMPs, and company standards and policies. Responsibilities: • Lead and direct the activities of assigned line workers to effectively fill finished good products according to Filling & Assembly Specifications (F&A) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). • Responsible for work assignments, monitoring, training, recording line productivity, quality results, pallet completions, and related activities to support production requirements • Ensure proper utilization of equipment, manpower, and materials to eliminate downtime, injuries, and waste. Assists in developing more efficient means to identify equipment limitations, staffing, and materials to better utilize available resources and maximize productivity. • Inspect line areas to ensure safety and cleanliness are in accordance with GMP. Responsible for safety issues that might affect employees, including taking action to minimize the risk of injury, as needed. • Maintain record of materials and product on the line and reports on production progress and results using company approved methods, including documenting metrics on hourly whiteboard, Fill Traveler and Data Sheet. • Communicate effectively with Production Manager/Supervisor on line performance, employee performance, quality issues, and other daily needs. • Assist other personnel to ensure that assigned line runs at maximum safety, efficiency, and quality. This includes, stepping in to perform any job duty on the line in support of line operations. • Make minor adjustments to production equipment. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Willingness to work overtime when asked. • Ability to maintain a positive and productive relationship with co-workers and others with whom the position may have contact.
