Smarter than your Dog STYD, located in Anacortes Washington, is looking for a friendly, reliable part time Daycare Technician/Pack Leader. Starting hourly pay is $13.69. Day, evening and weekend shifts available. Specifically, the weekend shift must be filled. Holiday coverage is necessary. Daycare business hours are from 7:00 am- 5:45 pm. Hours available will vary based on facility demands-9 to 36 hours per week. Boarding staff works during select hours from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. Opportunities are available in boarding based on your skill level and canine knowledge. As a pack leader you will monitor our four-legged friends in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Having a keen sense of appropriate pack behavior, using approved toys and tools to ensure safe levels of play and minimizing stress levels of all dogs in pack groups. In addition, you will be responsible to maintain the kennel spaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for the dogs. Cleanliness and safety is a top priority. Besides working directly with dogs, cleaning is also a large component to this position. Other possible responsibilities include feeding, medication administration and personal attention.
