4 year old BLACKBEARD has a pirate's name and a pirate's snaggletooth. He is a adorable sack of dark brindle bounciness. This guy has a great personality. He'll sniff at you a bit to make sure you're OK-- pirates can never be too careful. Once he trusts you, he's endlessly entertaining. And he loves food. I have a playgroup video of him playing with another large dog. If you're looking for a model dog you can bring to a pageant or one who looks gorgeous in holiday photos, Blackbeard probably isn't the one for you. But if you're up for laughs and adventure and a bit of messy high-seas sailing (water is truly his element), Blackbeard is your boy. Blackbeard was up for Euthanization at a city shelter.
