Seeds-to-Sprouts is a 3 day camp from 9am-12pm where 4-H members ages 8-10 can learn all about gardening through hands on experiences! 4-H kids, ages 8-10, are invited to register for this summer’s “Seed-to-Sprout” gardening camp, the week of July 12-16, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at UF/IFAS Extension Flagler County, 150 Sawgrass Rd., Bunnell 32110. At this camp, the 4-H kids will learn how to build a raised garden bed from scratch, how to make “Black Gold” compost from natural materials to fill the raised garden bed, how to plant vegetables and fruits from seeds and starters, and how to make interesting crafts from what they grew. Registration is $30 and limited to 12 kids. By the end of camp, kids will be able to take home their completed crafts as well as 3-4 vegetables, flowers, or herbs of their choice.
