POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing modifications to products that are returned, or require additional change prior to shipping. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently per work orders received • Shrink wrap all orders after they are done • Unload/load trucks using sit down forklift • Put away received products inside the warehouse • Must be able to complete inventory log sheets • Operate machinery according to work instructions for quality and safety standards • Relieve forklift operators whenever necessary • Double checks inventory and records on warehouse forms • Fill out all warehouse forms and report to the Supervisor • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean condition and follows safety regulations • Report any problems in the work area to the Warehouse Supervisor • Deliver products to customers whenever necessary • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education. • An understanding and appreciation for quality processes • Must be able to read, write and follow rules • Have strong attention to detail • Help maintain a positive work area • Previous warehouse, manufacturing experience LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to speak, read, writes, and comprehends simple English. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. MATHMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with ability to operate in units of US currency, and measure in units of volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or oral form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATIONS Industry forklift certificate is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision ability is required, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and stay focus.
