Hey all, My band, krōmacult, is looking to bring on a few more people to aid in the process of sculpting our sound and work towards the eventual release of our debut album. Right now we're two people, my name is Atlas and the second member is a very talented guy named Vic. We've been working since late 2018 to refine our style and arrive at music we're pleased with, and we're at a point where we're confident enough to bring on more people to aid in that process and work towards a final product. About Us: To give you a bit of background on us, I'm 28 and Vic is 30, we're both multi-instrumentalists/singers who have been pulling from a vast array of influences to create lush, harmonically rich music that is equal parts simple and catchy while having all the depth and intricacies that we find rewarding as longtime musicians. We each play guitar, bass, keyboard, sing, drums, etc. Some of our biggest influences include: Tame Impala, Mild High Club, Club Kuru, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Grizzly Bear, King Crimson, Michael Jackson, Prince, James Brown, Khruangbin, Radiohead, and others. Ideally, you are extremely familiar with your instrument(s) and have delved (at least a little) into songwriting and composition. We're looking for collaborators who can bring their own unique flavors and ideas into the fold, not just someone who can play a part that's written. This is why we're opening up membership during a time where we're still very actively creating. Personally, you're an amenable and agreeable collaborator who has no problem communicating ideas constructively. We're both super chill dudes. We are specifically looking for a female who can sing, as both Vic and I would love to implement an almost "choral" effect to many of the songs). If you are a female singer who can also play an instrument, even better! We imagine there is going to be a fair amount of hopping around between instruments for live performances, so the more flexible you can be in that regard, the better (though not a req).
