Bradford Shawsheen Coating Technologies, Inc. (BSCT) seeks s motivated and industrious Compound Specialist to join their production team in Lowell, MA. As Compounder, you will mix various components together for specialized applications which will be applied at a fabric coating line.   RESPONSIBILITIES * Accountable for setup and breakdown of equipment  * Execute written instructions/procedures * Inform supervisors of any malfunctioning of equipment * Follow good housekeeping procedures and maintain a safe working environment * Follow all Safe Practices and safety policies and procedures * Report all accident, incidents, safety violations, near misses or unsafe conditions to your Supervisory IMMEDIATELY * Wear appropriate PPE at all times * Work closely with chemicals, pumps and mixing equipment * Handle chemical drums and tankers, pumps, filters, etc. * Assist with color design and sample preparation of PVD and polyethylene products  * Take direction from the foremen on job set-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns     * Record required data accurately and on a timely basis * Daily inventory of raw material for the purpose of calling materials from the warehouse  * Other duties as assigned SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position working 4 am - 4 pm Monday - Thursday (40 hours regular pay and 8 hours OT pay). COMPENSATION: Starting wage is $17 per hour (effective rate is $18.41 per hour for 48 hours of work over a 1 week period). QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or equivalent related experience * Willingness to work 12-hour shifts * Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50 pounds required * Ability to stand long periods of time * Ability to perform job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids * Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment * Basic math and computer skills * Ability to understand written and verbal instructions * Ability to be ready at the scheduled time to ensure lines start on time APPLY ONLINE AT bsct.hirescore.com No phone calls or walk-ins, please.
