ISS Facility Services is hiring Maintenance Technicians to join our team at the Adidas Spartanburg, SC location. There are several openings still available requiring various skill sets. Starting pay range from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour plus benefits based on position and experience. (WE ARE OFFERING A $500.00 SIGN ON BONUS, $250.00 PAID AFTER 30 DAYS, AND $250,00 AFTER 60 DAYS. LIMITED TIME ONLY, THROUGH THE MONTH OF MAY), The Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintenance support of the facility, warehouse, and campus as directed by management. Primary focus is on preventative and corrective maintenance for the forklift batteries used in the MHE fleet. Some mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other general support as directed by management. Key Responsibilities: The positions performs general maintenance on all facets of facility equipment and infrastructure. Working knowledge of all facility and warehouse systems and repairs required for successful campus operations. Perform maintenance and repairs as needed/directed to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards. Assist with coordination of subcontractors to perform service work as needed. Complies with all policies and procedures established by ISS and Adidas. Actively participates in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs. Communicate effectively in English with the maintenance and operations teams to help maximize the uptime of the facility and warehouse equipment. Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Maintains tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe condition. Maintains service documentation. Assist higher rated technicians as required. Complete assigned preventative as well as all other maintenance work orders as scheduled. Safely operate all variations of maintenance support equipment to include lifts, ladders, hand tools, power tools and all personal protective equipment (PPE). Operate multilevel industrial battery changer station to charge, service, and maintain the forklift fleet batteries in top condition. General housekeeping, minor cosmetic repairs/painting to all Adidas Group assets to include but not limited to furniture, walls, floors, ceilings, doors and windows. Maintain a courteous and professional work ethic, appearance, and attitude. Flexibility to flow with the work to accomplish all daily operations and maintenance tasks. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Proficient in at least two of the following five categories: (1) Electrical, (2) Facilities Maintenance, (3) Welding, and (4) Plumbing (5) HVAC. Familiar with and can safely operate all facility and material handling equipment and assorted handheld and power tools, torch, welder, impact tools, hydraulic tire press, electrical testing equipment. Capable of being trained on Forklift and Aerial Lift Equipment. We will train. Good interpersonal and a positive team attitude. Familiar with computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CMMS (Maintenance Management System) for higher skilled positions. Strong customer service orientation. Use of Personal Protection Equipment as mandated by state and federal OSHA regulations. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walk long distances, occasional stooping, kneeling, climbing, crawling, working at heights, as well as lifting, moving and carrying up to 60 pounds. Working Conditions: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled Distribution or Warehouse atmosphere, in which outside weather conditions greatly affect the building’s temperature although localized fans and heaters are used. Work tools and equipment are provided by ISS. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED or post-secondary or equivalent technical experience preferred.
