The position is Full time with typical work schedule of Monday through Friday 8a-5p. (Must be flexible and able to work later hours and weekends if needed for emergency calls) Responsibilities include: -Perform all aspects of repairs, handyman assignments, housekeeping, and property cleaning -Assist the Facility Manager and Housekeeping staff in general -Perform Maintenance repairs including paint/drywall repairs, minor plumbing and minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Tasks including clearing clogged drains, leaky faucets, toilet replacement, electrical outlets, and other minor electrical repairs, etc. -Complete special tasks that are not limited to painting, minor concrete repairs, pressure washing, minor pavement and parking stop repairs, minor carpentry, HVAC, electrical and locksmith repairs, tenant service requests and general maintenance as assigned -Performs assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations -Responds effectively to all emergencies -Comply with all safety guidelines and maintains good housekeeping and safety of all work areas. Recognizes danger and safety hazards and proposes methods to eliminate them -Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Law -Assure that the Waste Management program is being followed -Assist with the assembly and inspect for safety all special events -Ability to utilize and train others to use the supplied pressure washer -Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the maintenance tech or role -Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts of interior, parking lots, service area and common Knowledge & Skill Requirements: -Management experience in related field preferred -Minimum of (3) years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic hvac, basic plumbing and basic electrical -Ability to lift 50lbs, use ladder up to 30ft, possess mechanical and electrical aptitude and have excellent communication skill in English, both oral and written -Bilingual a plus -Must be insurable thru our carrier REFERENCES WILL BE CHECKED AND VERIFIED CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED: -Clean Criminal Background -Successful passing of a drug screening will be required prior to employment offer -Must pass a driving background check and be insurable thru our carrier
