Job Title: Landscape Foreman Interact with customers and coordinate other crewmembers to provide optimum services. Assist with the daily Project Management functions and project set up including paperwork. Play a major role in the installation process of high-quality landscape installations. Learn and execute proper landscaping techniques and utilize equipment, power tools, small machinery, and hand tools to carry out full-service installations and proper handling of all materials. Execute strong attention to detail and personal integrity including working with a team or independently. Essential Functions: • Direct activities on the job site, they include but are not limited to: coordinating workflow, hands on work, and operating a variety of machinery. • Monitor all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance. • Supervises and manages landscape crew. • Ensures that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment • Ensures that all equipment safely and maintenance procedures are followed. • Interacts with clientele to help ensure job satisfaction. • Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work. • Leads by example. • Follows directions from supervisor. • Track and record all job hours worked accurately. • Conduct final inspection upon project completion. • Maintain a clean and safe job site. Requirements: • 2+ years (3+ years preferred) experience • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Commercial Driver’s License (preferred) and reputable driving record • Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including front end loaders, mini-excavators, and skid steer machinery with various attachments; other construction equipment as needed • Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees; identification and cultural requirements • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated • Excellent attention to detail • Verbal & written communications skills • Ability to prioritize and multi-task • Punctual and dependable
