Description

ECHO seeks an experienced team player to provide building maintenance and custodial services in a unique 36,000 square foot, LEED-certified aquarium and science center. The full time position provides a diverse set of responsibilities that includes interior and exterior daily cleaning of guest, staff and service areas as well as seasonal grounds maintenance. This position will also assist in interior and exterior building maintenance including painting, flooring, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, HVAC, and exhibit setup and maintenance. The Custodial & Building Maintenance Worker is an experienced team player who likes working in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate has demonstrated knowledge and a background in both general building maintenance and custodial services. This position will be full time, non-exempt (eligible overtime pay) and will be scheduled for five, eight-hour days per week, including weekends. Occasionally, this position will be required to work full weekends, holidays and overtime.
